Set Sail to Scattery Island

The next leg of your Western Loop adventure begins when you set sail from Kilrush Marina for Scattery Island, one of West Clare’s hidden gems. Board a ferry with Scattery Island Tours and traverse the glistening waters towards this mystical isle. Marvel at the Majestic Cliffs of Moher

(4:00pm – 6:00pm)

After leaving the tranquil lawns of the Vandeleur Walled Garden, prepare to be awe-struck as you arrive at the majestic Cliffs of Moher Experience. Explore the visitor centre and learn about the delicate ecosystem surrounding the cliffs. As you traverse the cliff paths, be mesmerised by panoramic views that stretch across the horizon. After working up an appetite hiking along the rugged trails, head out to Carrigaholt for dinner at the Long Dock.
